The British Scoliosis Research Foundation is delighted to announce the next instalment of the ‘Zorab’ Symposia, running since 1963. This will be a face-to-face meeting, held in the heart of central London. One Great George Street is a stunning and historical venue, located in Westminster near the River Thames, Westminster Abbey, Palace of Westminster and Elizabeth Tower. The first day of the symposium will conclude with canapés and drinks.
The International Phillip Zorab Symposia take place biannually for clinicians and scientists with an interest in scoliosis aetiology and the development of more effective treatments. Phillip Zorab was a chest physician at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London who developed an expertise in the management of severe scoliosis, and an interest in the aetiology of idiopathic scoliosis.
The International Phillip Zorab Symposium lectures generate fruitful discussion among experts in the field of scoliosis and are instrumental in inspiring new research.
The abstract submission deadline has been extended to the 31st of March. We are interested in any submission that enhances our knowledge of scoliosis and fosters discussion; papers will be presented as a poster or podium presentation.
More information about how to submit your abstract can be found on the event page at https://bit.ly/17thIPZS.
The faculty has been carefully curated to provide an excellent breadth and depth for the exploration of current concepts and controversies in the art of scoliosis. The British Scoliosis Society will be hosting one session.
